Summer Bishil, an American actress, is best known for portraying Margo Hanson in the Syfy the fantasy show The Magicians. For the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she portrayed 13-year old Lebanese American girl Jasira who experiences a tumultuous existence in the backdrop of the U.S. invading Iraq during the Gulf War. The following year, she was named one of the Ten actors in Variety's list of to watch. Her character was a powerful one Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 thriller Crossing Over for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Lead category.
